“The Housemaid” (PART 1)

So lately I have been doing some reviews on “Romance, True Crime, Historical Event, and even Trauma” but this one is different this falls more into the murder mystery genre another one of my favorite kind of book series.
The story begins with Millie Calloway, She Just got released from prison after quite some time and was currently living in her car, until she gets a job as a live in housemaid for the Winchesters. When Millie comes in for her interview with Nina Winchester everything seems normal Nina seems like a nice, put together, and clean woman.
When Millie comes for her first day at work, everything is completely different and not what she had expected but she can’t just quit because if she quits that means she has to go back to living in her car and sleeping in the back seat of it.
it’s the first official day as the Winchesters housemaid and when Millie wakes up to go down to the kitchen, she sees Nina Winchester throwing dishes and rummaging through the fridge it looked like she was searching for something and was starting to get frustrated. Ninas eyes fell on to Millie, and she’s started to scream at her and accusing her.
Her husband Andrew overheard his wife screaming and came into the kitchen dressed as if he was getting ready to leave for work, he tried very hard to get her to calm down until Ninas Mood changed Like she didn’t just have a mental breakdown in the middle of her kitchen.
Millie Starts to question her boss because of the strange change of moods one minute Nina is kind and appreciative toward her and the next she’s telling her of all the things she didn’t do. until when Millie finds something that explains it all. Nina & Andrews Daughter Cecelia hasn’t taken a liking to Millie yet and Millie is not sure why Cecelia doesn’t like her, but she is adamant on finding out why. There is something strange about this woman but Millie just can’t put her finger on it yet.
Halfway through the book and I cannot wait to find out how it ends, stay tuned because I will definitely be posting my review on the ending shortly. So just from reading the first half I already give this book a 10/10 and I can’t wait to read the sequels after I finish this one!
