well, I told you id be back with part 2 and honestly, it wasn’t at all how I expected it to be so here goes part 2.

The train has just pulled up to a little station outside of Hogwarts and everyone is told to leave their luggage behind that it will be brought to their rooms for them. harry sees a familiar face as he and Ron are walking off of the train, Hagrid is there to meet all the students and bring the first years to the castle for the welcome feast. as they approach the castle, they are met by professor McGonagle who is the head of Gryffindor house. she is there to take the students to the great hall for the sorting ceremony. before they go in, she explains the 4 houses that they will be set in the firs house is Gryffindor, the second is Hufflepuff, the third is Ravenclaw, and the fourth is Slytherin.

As the doors open to the great hall and all the first-year students fallow behind professor McGonagle she has them line up neatly and starts calling their names individually to be housed by the sorting hat, Ron, and Hermione were put into Gryffindor house along with Neville. Draco Malfoy was set to Slytherin and finally it was Harrys turn. the sorting hat took his time with harry until finally he decided that he shall also be put in Gryffindor. once everyone has been sorted into their house’s headmaster Dumbledore stands and says a few words he welcomes the first years and reminds the students that the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all students. he even has them sing their school song before they finish.

As everyone follows out of the great hall each house has a prefect, and Percy Weasley is Gryffindor’s prefect. so, he is to show the first years to the Gryffindor tower and where their common room is along with their dormitory. once everyone gets settled in and finds their beds they all realize that all of their things have been brought up for them. Harry and Ron meet another first year Gryffindor his name is Seamus.

the next morning at breakfast mail comes Neville, Hermione, Ron, Seamus, and Harry are all sitting near each other at the long tables. Neville got a package from his grandmother it was a Remembrall the smoke inside the ball turns red when you are holding it if you forgot something.as everyone was sitting around eating and getting ready for their first day of classes here comes Draco Malfoy with his two goons Crabbe and Goyel. draco walks over and snatches the Remembrall away from Neville only for when rom is about to say something here comes professor McGonagle from behind asking what is going on. Draco throws the ball back at Neville and says he was just looking at it to the professor.

later that day Gryffindor and Slytherin houses have to take flying lessons with madam hooch. only the lesson didn’t last very long because poor Neville ended up breaking his wrist by falling off the broom. but then here comes harry to come in and save the day draco picks up the Remembrall off the ground and he gets on his broom and fly’s high up harry follows behind him as draco throws the Remembrall thinking that harry will never be able to catch that he was wrong because as soon as harry caught the ball and started to fly towards the grounds here comes professor McGonagle.

harry is now Gryffindor’s new secret weapon, although he’s never played a game of quidditch before but with the help of quidditch captain and fifth year Oliver wood he’s bound to figure it out before his first game. harry is currently the youngest quidditch seeker in almost a century. they wanted to keep it a secret until the first game because first years aren’t allowed to play for their house team until their second year. as Ron and harry are walking down the halls talking about the news here comes the twins Fred and George Weasley, they are on the team as well they try to help harry feel a little less worried about his first game but they both told harry that they are the ones who are supposed to stop the seeker which is him from getting knocked off his broom.

its Halloween night and everyone is in the great hall enjoying a Halloween feist just as professor Quirrell comes running into the great hall gasping for air once he got close enough to the high table where Dumbledore and the other teachers were at, he finally said that there was a troll in the castle. all the students started to scream and panic. until Dumbledore stands straight up and yells for all to be silent. he calmly asks for all the house prefects to take the students back to the dormitory and for all the teachers to follow him to the dungeon. well as the students were all piling out to get to the dormitories harry and Ron realized that Hermione was still in the girl’s bathroom upset from earlier, so instead of going straight to the Gryffindor common room they decided to go help the one person who drives them insane for the first half of the book.

After they finally reached the girls bathroom they run in and find Herminie hiding under one of the sinks in the corner of the bathroom, but the troll has its eyes set on her until Ron picks up a piece of broken pipe at tosses it at the troll to direct its attention away from Hermione and harry, harry now since the troll is distracted throws himself on top of the troll wrapping his arms around its thick neck once the roll dropped its giant bat Ron took the advantage to cast “wingardium leviosa” and once he dropped the floating trolls bat on his head the troll took a fall that shook the whole room. moments later professor McGonagle, professor snape, and professor Quirrell all come running to the girl’s bathroom in shock to see that the children are not only ok but that the troll is unconscious. that night was the start to a friendship that will last a lifetime.

Okie so it looks like I may need to do a part three for this one, but I promise it will be so worth it in the end. the first book was so good that I wasn’t able to put it down once I finished a chapter I just had to keep reading, I couldn’t stop. well anyway stay tuned for the part 3 update, it will hopefully be posted either tonight or tomorrow morning.
