“It Starts With US”

“It Starts with Us” is the sequel to “It Ends with Us” in my personal opinion it was an interesting walk into Lily and Atlas’s relationship.
At the end of the first book Lily and Atlas end up running into each other one morning when Lily was on her way to Drop Emmy off with Ryle and as Atlas was on his way to Bibs one of the restaurants that he owns. As the second book begins it takes place at that same moment except now Lily and Ryle have just settle on a civil co-parenting agreement with their daughter Emerson, and her flower business is blooming with online orders and customers.
Although they are divorced somehow Ryle still has control over Lily, Atlas and Lily want to give what they think they have a chance but with Ryle around Lily will not be able to comfortably say I’m happy because she always has to worry about how he will react especially when he finds out that the person his Ex-wife is dating is the one person he despises more than anything.
Each chapter is a POV from either Atlas or Lily the one thing I enjoyed the most was that they gave Atlas a story they went more into detail about why he moved to Boston when him and lily were just teenagers, why he chose to go to the military, …… and why he Lied to Lily about living with his uncle. They gave Atlas a Story Yes, it is a sad one, but it definitely fills in the blank spaces that it leaves from the first book.
Now For Lily I feel like she made her choice to be happy and to live her life with Atlas No matter what Ryle feel about the situation. Atlas has his little brother moved in with him and finally him and Lily get to spend forever with each other as he watches Lily Walk down the aisle in white.
No matter what I would rate this book a 10/10 just for the plot and continued storyline. but it’s also because I love all of colleen hoovers books.
