“Regretting You”

Regretting you is a Novel about a woman named Morgan who end up getting pregnant at a young age and marries her “Highschool sweetheart” Chris Grant. she basically raised her sister when she was just 17 so she already had the practice of being a mom.
Her sister Jenny is in a relationship with Chris’s Best Friend Jonah Sullivan. Chris and Morgan are complete opposites and so are Jenny and Jonah. Jonah would sometimes ask Morgan how they ended up with their complete opposites? but Morgan would always respond with saying sometimes opposite attract each other.
17 years later Morgan and Chris are Raising their daughter Clara, Clara idolizes her father and her aunt jenny, but when an accident occurs with her father and someone who they would have never expected Clara tries to go against everything her mother says especially when it comes to Miller Adams, the boy she has a crush on.
Morgan tries everything she can to make sure that Clara doesn’t make the same mistakes that she did when she was her age, but little did morgan know that she was being betrayed not only in her vows but by family as well. Morgan didn’t want to believe that her husband was having an affair but all the pieces in the puzzle had started to fit together. She didn’t want to tell Clara about her father’s affair because it would destroy her because of how much she idolizes and loves her father.
It was around midnight one night and Jonah shows up to morgans home with Elijah, he’s banging on the door impatiently waiting for morgan to answer the door. once she answers and looks at Jonah who has the baby in his arms, she asks him what’s wrong & if the baby is okay, but Jonah claims he can’t do this he can’t handle it. Morgan is confused but when she looks at Jonah, he just Looks down at Elijah, and he says to her he has Chris’s smile and he hands Elijah to morgan and turns to walk away.
At this point Clara and Miller have already put their relationship public, but it seems the only person who doesn’t agree with it is still her mother. Chris, Jenny, Jonah, & Morgan all grew up around Hank Adams (Millers father), so they knew exactly the type of person he was, but to little surprise Miller is nothing like his father he works hard and has a sweet side to him plus he is madly in love with Clara.
The more I read the book the more I feel like I know Clara and Morgan but so far, it’s imposable to put the book down. The movie was okie but I definitely Recommend the Book because with the movie you are missing so much detail and information that the book has that the movie doesn’t show. so yes, I definitely would say to read this book before you watch the movie.
